CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM Certification (CFPCM) is a mark of excellence in financial planning, investment education, and ethics, and is awarded to professionals who meet these criteria. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (FPSB-US) has certified the CFP course. The course is recognized in 26 countries worldwide. From April 1, 2019, the CFP certification programme in India will be operated directly by FPSB Ltd, situated in the United States.
Personal finance is the focus of the Certified Financial Planner course. CFP is concerned with how well we can manage an individual’s finances by achieving his or her goals from time to time in life.
Students must learn a lot about six topics during the course:
1. Introduction Financial Planning
2. Risk Analysis and Insurance Planning
3. Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits
4. Investment Planning
5. Tax Planning and Estate Planning
6. Advance Finance Planning
Because there is a shortage of competent professionals in personal finance in India, CFP courses are in high demand these days. This certification has been completed by fewer than 5000 candidates. In comparison to other emerging countries, the growth of HNIs (high net worth individuals) is extremely rapid. As a result, the breadth of financial planning is expanding year after year.
Students who complete the CFP program can pursue a career in banking and financial services or establish their own business in this field.
The Basic courses are intended for those seeking Entry-Level Positions in wealth management and financial advisory. The goal is to build a strong foundation in investment concepts and products, as well as to understand the process of goal-based financial planning and asset allocation.
